The Results are In...
We are having a boy! Dr. K confirmed this morning via ultrasound. The baby weighs a pound, and has a huge head and hands. Baby waved at us during the scan. Dr. says that he'll be around 8 pounds when he's born! Yikes!

Cribs Baby Edition 2011
After 4 back-orders from JC Penney, and problems picking up the package due to size, the crib has finally arrived safely and been set up in baby's room. Don't know if you can tell from the pic, but the crib is a classic sleigh in black. More pics of the nursery to come as it is decorated.

Feel that Baby Move! or "Quit Squishing Me, Mom!"
On Tuesday, for the first time officially, I felt the baby move. I was sitting on the edge of the bed, sort of leaning forward, and I felt a little bubbly nudge. I thought, what is that??? Then another swift kick, kick. "Oh. My. God. I am squishing my baby!" I promptly sat upright, and the nudging stopped.
Today, two days later, I felt some more tickling sensations. It's just the beginning!

Thank You, Tante Sherine!
Check out these adorable Baby Gap jeans that my best friend Sherine got our little one! Baby be sporting these with a white baby onesie. How posh!
March Madness!!!
Yesterday we had our March appointment. I still haven't felt the baby kick, squirm, roll over, move, etc. but apparently we're raising a soccer player. The doctor put the doppler up for the heartbeat (which was between 168-173) and we heard movement. I laughed at how much the baby was moving, and it moved even more. It seemed like every 2 seconds the doctor was saying: kick, roll, kick, squirm, kick! I guess I should count myself lucky that I can't feel it yet, and can still sleep through the night.
My blood pressure was still slightly elevated (132/80) but much less than the previous two visits.
Our next visit is scheduled for.... March 30! That'll be the April OB appointment and the visit we've all been waiting for, the ULTRASOUND! Now I just have to remember to tell the baby, "Have your legs uncrossed and face forward." We'll see how well that works :)
